Nevada's Largest Non-governmental Social Services Agency

In cooperation with the USDA Rural Development Agency, ECD produced a $2.7 million federal construction loan financial analysis for one of Nevada's largest non-governmental social service agencies serving the developmentally challenged.

University of Nevada, Reno, Computer Laboratories

An Eclipse principal designed, introduced, and managed the University’s computer laboratory performance improvement plan and the related strategic plan for the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Nevada, Reno. These plans included elements for turning around several departments’ financial operations, combining operations, implementing 360-degree feedback, and sales of computer-related products and services. Efficiencies achieved within 8 months of implementation of these plans include the following:

• Reduced operating costs by 24%,
• Significantly increased employee performance measures,
• Initiated the 3-Year Revolving Information Technology Budget that is still used today, and
• Increased customer satisfaction by 10%.

These results were achieved within 8 months.
